Commissioned Editorial
Portraiture
My work is commissioned selectively and priced based on scope, usage, and location.
I do not offer standard packages or fixed session menus. Each project is approached as editorial portraiture, with time given to planning, observation, and post-production.
This page provides general guidance only.
What a commission includes
A commissioned editorial portrait project typically includes:
Pre-shoot discussion to understand intent and context
A focused shoot in a real environment
Calm, observational working style with minimal direction
Careful editing with restraint and longevity in mind
Delivery of a considered selection of final images
The emphasis is on presence, effort, and honest representation rather than performance or polish.
Indicative starting point
Most editorial portrait commissions begin from:
SGD 650
This reflects time, experience, and the creation of work intended for long-term use rather than single-purpose content.
Final fees depend on scope, usage, and any additional requirements.
Studio-based work
Studio-based projects are available where appropriate.
Studio hire is charged separately based on actual booking time and includes setup and breakdown. Most studio projects require at least two hours.
Studio costs are discussed clearly in advance and passed on transparently.
Usage and licensing
Personal and editorial usage is included by default.
Commercial, promotional, or organisational usage is discussed on a per-project basis and priced based on scope and reach. This ensures clarity for both parties and protects long-term value.
Collaboration
Alongside commissioned work, I also undertake selective creative collaboration.
These projects are free when initiated as editorial or personal studies and chosen based on alignment. They are not services and carry no obligation to progress into paid work.
What I do not offer
To avoid confusion, I do not take on:
Events or live coverage
Corporate or professional headshots
Generic promotional or influencer photography
